Reflective Practice Session for the Webinar:

Supporting Participation- Sensory Processing Strategies for Daily Routines

Sensory processing is the foundation. When a child is not regulated, we can’t expect much else to fall into place. In this reflective practice session, we’ll go beyond the webinar insights to explore how sensory systems workwhy dysregulation happens, and what we can do to help children thrive.

Whether or not you attended occupational therapist Sara Zielinski’s May webinar, you’ll find this session valuable. Together, we will:

  • Reflect on how sensory processing impacts infants, toddlers, and young children in daily life.

  • Consider the effects when sensory systems are not functioning optimally.

  • Share strategies that support regulation, participation, and connection in family routines.

  • Turn potential barriers into opportunities for growth — for the child and the family.

This Reflective Practice Session will directly follow the webinar.

This event is only open to IDTA members who attended the webinar !

Early Intervention Credits - TBD

(please note credit is currently unavailable for states outside of Illinois)

This is a closed training and is only open to IDTA Members who attended the Webinar. Please note, a strict no cancellation policy will be enforced for all IDTA webinars.
