Join us as we learn about how vision impacts learning from Sheila Walker DT-V, in her presentation entitled, "How Visual Impairments Impact Infants and Toddlers Putting Them at Risk for Developmental Delay"
Sheila graduated from Illinois State University receiving her bachelor's degree in special education and received certification as a teacher of the visually impaired. Sheila earned her master's in education degree in orientation and mobility at the University of Louisville.
Sheila Walker now works as an evaluator/assessor, developmental therapist, developmental vision specialist and developmental orientation and mobility specialist.
EI credits approved - .5 Assessment, .5 Atypical Development, .25 Intervention, .25 Typical Development - (1.5 total Credits)
